Reservations can be made using the request form, by email or phone. The details of a valid credit card belonging to one of the passengers are retained as a booking guarantee. Upon completion of the booking, Damigos Santorini Car Hire is entitled to charge a 50% advance on the entire cost of the booking for bookings of 2 days and more. The entire amount is charged for 1-day bookings.

The car rental rate includes the Third Party Liability insurance. Optional Collision Damage Waiver (CDW).

International driving license is not considered as a prerequisite as long as the national license is valid.

The car driver needs to be at least 21 years old and have had a driver’s license for at least one year. Riders (who rent bikes & ATVs) needs to be at least 27 years old.

Yes, of course you can have a full insurance option during your reservation. Full insurance Collision Damage Waiver is a service that reduce your liability for damaging the car, its parts and its accessories as long as the car is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The waiver carries an excess of 500 Euros. That means, your liability concerns the first 500 euro in case of an accident. The excess excludes glass (windows etc), tyres and any damage.

The operating hours of our office are 8:00 to 20:00 (GMT +2) 7 days a week.

The ATV requires a car driver license, where the scooter requires a motorbike license.

If you cancel up to 7 days before the arrival date, the entire amount paid in advance will be refunded. If you cancel within 6 days or less of the arrival date, the advance will not be refunded.

If you do not appear to collect the vehicle, the vehicle will remain available at the pick-up location for 24 hours. If you do not contact us within 24 hours, the booking will be cancelled and the vehicle will be released for hire again. The advance is non-refundable in this case.

Depending on the Delivery & Collection locations you have chosen, there will be a representative from Damigos Car Rental Services holding a card with your name. In order for the Damigos Rent a Car member to identify you, please have your ID card and drivers license with you.

No, the car must be collected or delivered within the operating hours, 8:00 till 21:00 (GMT+2).

You are able to pick up and drop off the car anywhere in Santorini (port, airport, hotel, any spot on Santorini). There is no charge for the delivery and the collection.

Yes, fuel is provided upon pickup. There are many petrol stations around the island. On drop off, the car needs to have the same amount of fuel as it had on pick up.

No, you are not allowed to transport the car outside of the island.

Damigos Santorini Car Hire provides 24/7 roadside assistance. In case of car breakdown or accident, just give us a call and a team of experienced mechanical engineers will take care the rest. Also, keep in mind to file an Accident Report along with the third party motor vehicle driver, if involved, so you can claim the car damage waiver. Please read carefully the section on Car Insurance, stated on this web site.

No, we do not reimburse.

In this scenario, you need to contact us so that we can determine whether the car is going to be available. If the car is not reserved, you will be charged on the usual rate for the extra days. The car must be returned at the time which was previously agreed.
